ABOUT DASC

DASC Vision

A vibrant, family-forward soccer community where athletes grow in confidence, character, and reach their full potential—on and off the field.

Our Mission

We empower youth through soccer by building a supportive community rooted in character, sportsmanship, and teamwork, while creating positive experiences that encourage long-term growth and a lifelong love of the game.

Our Board Values

We are guided by a strong commitment to community, character, and being family-forward in everything we do. With a future-focused mindset, we make decisions that support sustainable club growth, long-term player development, and a positive experience for families today and for generations to come.

Coach & Staff Values

Our coaches and staff foster a welcoming community while modeling sportsmanship in every interaction. Through intentional coaching, we emphasize teamwork, build self-confidence, and support continuous growth, helping players develop as athletes and as people.

Who We Are

The Dillsburg Area Soccer Club (DASC) is a non-profit community soccer organization dedicated to developing players in a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment. We believe soccer is a powerful tool for building confidence, character, and connection.

Through both recreation and travel programs, DASC provides developmentally appropriate opportunities for players of all ages to learn the game, work together as teammates, and grow through both success and challenge.

Players train and compete at Logan Park, Chestnut Ridge Park, Century Lane Park, and Ponderosa Park, serving families throughout South Central Pennsylvania including Boiling Springs, Camp Hill, Carlisle, Dillsburg, Harrisburg, New Cumberland, York, and York Springs.

Our Roots & Reach

Founded in 1979 by Gail George, DASC has grown from 42 players to more than 700 participants ages 3 through 19. We are proud members of CPYSL, EPYSA, and U.S. Youth Soccer, and remain deeply committed to serving our local community.

Dillsburg Dual Shootout

Each year, DASC hosts the Dillsburg Dual Shootout—one of the region’s premier tournaments—welcoming teams from six states over Columbus Day weekend. The event reflects our club values through strong organization, sportsmanship, and a first-class experience for players, families, and coaches.

Non-profit standing

Dillsburg Area Soccer Club was established as a non-profit corporation in 1987 under Pennsylvania state laws and is headed by Shayne McIntosh.
