DASC Representative Code of Conduct

The Dillsburg Area Soccer Club is a nonprofit community soccer organization. We are committed to fostering a passion for the game by providing a safe, fun environment where our players can learn the value of teamwork, achieve individual success and develop a strong ethic of good sportsmanship.


I will place the emotional and physical well-being of my players ahead of a personal desire to win.

I will treat each player as an individual, remembering the large range of emotional and physical development for the
same age group.

I will do my best to provide my players with a safe, injury-free environment.

I will prepare successful lesson plans that provide suitable instruction for the age, physical and emotional maturity,
experience and ability of my players.

I promise to review and practice basic first aid principles needed to treat injuries of my players.

I have completed concussion training certification and will follow the PA Department of Health’s concussion guidelines
in compliance with EPYSA’s policy.

I will not leave a child unattended on the field.

I will lead by example, demonstrating respect, fair play, and sportsmanship to all my players.

I will not cheat or engage in unethical behavior that violates league rules.

I will keep player information that is personal in nature confidential, including evaluations for selection purposes and
disciplinary action.

I will refrain from using drugs, tobacco, and alcohol at or before all team training sessions and matches.

I will do my best to provide a sports environment for my team that is free of abusive language and profanity.

I will report to the DASC Director of Player Development any issue or problem that arises concerning the conduct of
a coach, parent, or player.

I understand that any action inconsistent with this Code of Conduct may result in removal from my position.
