Carl Oberg

Carl Oberg Head Coach | U12 Boys Vortex

Carl Oberg serves as the Head Coach of the DASC U12 Boys Vortex team. After previously coaching within the Polar Bear Academy and DASC Recreation programs, Carl is excited to begin his first season as a travel soccer coach and continue helping players develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game.

A native of South Jersey, Carl grew up playing both club and high school soccer. He began his playing career as a midfielder before discovering a passion for goalkeeping in elementary school and never looked back. His playing accomplishments include being part of a conference championship-winning high school team in 2004.

Carl moved to Dillsburg in 2018 and has been an active member of the local soccer community ever since. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Architectural Engineering from Drexel University in 2011 and later completed a Master's degree in Civil and Structural Engineering.
